How to Change Your DNS Settings for the Plug-In Profit Site Installation
Tip: This step is only required if you did not register your domain at or transfer it to Plug-In Profit Site Domains.

Whenever you make a DNS (domain name server) change it takes around 24-48 hours for it to complete. During this propogation time routers all over the world are updating their cache. This will cause your site to be up and down randomly during the first 48 hours for different people at different times around the world. I encourage you to think of a DNS like a zip code. If you don't put a zip code on your mail the post office doesn't know where to send it. Domain names work the same way. If they don't have the DNS the internet doesn't know what server (or website host) to send your request to.

How to Make the DNS Changes

Every registrar has a different procedure for changing your domain's DNS. That said, they are all done basically the same way. To receive the Plug-In Profit Site's free website hosting service, you will need to update your name servers to the following:

ns1.pluginprofithosting.com
ns2.pluginprofithosting.com

You will need to take these name servers to wherever you purchased your domain name, fill them into the correct fields inside your account and save the changes to update your name servers.

Please note: If you register a new domain or transfer your domain to our private registrar at: http://www.PlugInProfitSiteDomains.com, you will not be required to update your name servers because this step will be done for you. Then you can simply complete the Plug-In Profit Site application form and we will get your new website setup for you within the next 24 hours.
